Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Scaffold Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work efficiently at heights. Candidates with experience in carpentry, roofing, or other construction trades are encouraged to apply. This is a paid position suitable for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project duration.
Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding frameworks accurately.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with site preparation and support other construction activities as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in scaffolding assembly or related construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is preferred.
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and safety protocols related to scaffold building.
Experience working with plumbing, electrical systems, or welding is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with working at heights and in various weather conditions is desirable.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is beneficial. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to advance their careers within the construction sector while ensuring safety remains a top priority on site.
