Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Assistant to support our online retail operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing product listings, optimising online content, and analysing performance metrics to enhance our digital presence. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in digital marketing, project management, and e-commerce management within a dynamic team environment.

Duties

Manage and update product listings across various e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
Coordinate with the marketing team on social media management, email marketing campaigns, and B2B outreach initiatives.
Utilise Adobe Photoshop to create or edit visual content for online listings and promotional materials.
Maintain and optimise website content using WordPress, ensuring user-friendly navigation and engaging presentation.
Analyse website traffic and campaign performance using Google Analytics and other analytical tools; prepare reports for management review.
Assist in managing Google Ads campaigns to maximise reach and ROI.
Support project management tasks related to product launches, promotional events, or website updates.
Write compelling copy for product descriptions, blog posts, newsletters, and social media content.
Collaborate with the sales team on B2B marketing strategies to expand business partnerships.
Organise schedules, deadlines, and coordinate tasks efficiently using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ensure effective communication within the team and with external partners to meet organisational goals.

Skills

Strong management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in SEO optimisation techniques and digital marketing tools including Google Ads and Google Analytics.
Experience with WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analysis skills to interpret data insights for strategic decision-making.
Exceptional copywriting abilities tailored for online audiences across various platforms.
Knowledge of social media management tools and email marketing platforms.
Understanding of B2B marketing strategies alongside general marketing principles.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
IT literacy with a focus on digital content creation, website management, and online advertising techniques.
