Salary range: £28939 – £30688 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Fixed term, one year maternity cover
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a Speech and Language Technical Instructor to join our team at The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. This role involves working across a range of specialist units including the Brain Injury Service, Neuro-behavioural Rehabilitation Unit, Ventilator Unit, Specialist Nursing Home and Huntington’s Disease Unit.
You will act as support practitioner to the speech and language therapy service as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will be required to prepare and administer therapeutic programmes for communication and swallowing difficulties under the direction of qualified Speech and Language Therapists. You will also provide support during the weekly FEES clinic.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in speech and language therapy to gain some clinical experience in adult neuro-rehabilitation and palliative care.
