Company Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant to support senior members of our legal team. This is a fast-paced and varied role requiring excellent administrative, communication, and coordination skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the legal function.

Job Description

Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:

Provide comprehensive PA support to senior legal team members, including complex diary management and scheduling
Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and supporting documentation
Act as the first point of contact for the legal team, managing queries efficiently and professionally
Manage shared mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation where required
Prepare, format, and proofread reports, presentations, and legal documents
Support the contract lifecycle process, including tracking, filing, and administrative coordination
Arrange travel, meetings, and associated logistics
Assist with policy management, record keeping, audits and information requests
Support the effective use of technology including AI-enabled tools and digital systems to improve efficiency and consistency across the wider legal team.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Legal Administrator, PA, or similar administrative role (legal environment preferred)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
