PR Manager
Gtech is looking for a proactive and creative PR Manager to lead day-to-day media relations, content development, and brand storytelling across consumer, corporate, and partnership communications.
This role will play a key part in increasing brand visibility, securing high-quality media coverage, supporting product launches, and amplifying the company’s partnership with Brentford FC.
You’ll work closely with internal teams including Social, Marketing, and Leadership to deliver integrated PR campaigns, thought leadership opportunities, and engaging content that supports the wider business strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Responsibilities
- Monitor media alerts on Vuelio for Gtech news, product mentions, and updates relating to the Brentford FC partnership.
- Record and track media coverage, including publication details, article URLs, and backlinking opportunities.
- Manage incoming journalist enquiries and coordinate product sample dispatch through Magento.
- Follow up with journalists after product deliveries to gather feedback, reviews, and coverage updates.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with the Social Team to repurpose PR coverage into engaging social content and integrate Brentford partnership activations.
- Pitch 3–4 tailored product review opportunities weekly through ResponseSource.
- Research, write, and publish two SEO-focused long-form blog articles each month (approx. 2,000 words), incorporating targeted keywords and external backlinks.
- Continue development of award submissions, ensuring all criteria and supporting evidence are addressed effectively.
- Develop and pitch Instagram and LinkedIn content ideas to internal stakeholders, collaborating with Social on content creation, copywriting, and publishing.
Monthly Responsibilities
- Draft and pitch thought leadership commentary from Gtech leadership on relevant industry trends and breaking news topics.
- Develop fresh PR and content campaign ideas that elevate Gtech products, leadership, and the Brentford partnership.
- Build relationships with AI-authoritative and technology-focused publications, securing product reviews and editorial opportunities.
- Arrange meetings with key trade media to discuss advertising opportunities and editorial collaborations.
- Write and distribute 1–2 press releases per month through Vuelio, covering product launches, company milestones, and industry commentary.
- Research relevant industry awards and recommend suitable entry opportunities to leadership teams.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a PR, communications, or media relations role.
- Strong understanding of consumer PR, digital PR, and content marketing.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience managing media databases and journalist outreach platforms such as Vuelio and ResponseSource.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of SEO content writing and backlink strategies.
- Experience working collaboratively with social media and marketing teams.
- Creative thinker with strong relationship-building skills.
Desirable
- Experience within consumer technology, lifestyle, home, or appliance brands.
- Existing relationships with UK consumer, lifestyle, and trade media.
- Experience writing award entries and thought leadership content.
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems such as Magento.
Pay: £24,420.00-£40,564.21 per year
