Job Introduction

Technical knowledge of Registration and Ceremonies is beneficial, but not essential, we will support you every step of the way to build your technical expertise.

This is a full-time position with a working pattern which spans Monday to Saturday. We are committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible working options where possible. Hybrid working is also available, in line with service need.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Registration Officer, you will:

Manage the Registration Officer team to provide registration services and ceremonies, making operational decisions and developing new processes and procedures.
Assist the Ceremony Team Leader with marketing, communications and development strategies.
Maintain effective relationships with licensed venues, Celebrants, other local authorities and professional organizations.
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and County Council governance.
Participate in the development and delivery of training within the team.

With no two days the same, you will bring flexibility, responsiveness and a steady presence, supporting your team to succeed through a wide range of situations
