Embroidery Machinist
2.0 Reports to: Management Team
4.0 Scope and Purpose of Post To work within the embroidery division, using the machinery to decorate garments with customer artwork
5.0 Key Tasks: -
Operate multi head embroidery machinery decorating customer garments to specification, taking care to reduce ‘spoils’.
Operate heat seal transfer press decorating customer garments to specification, taking care to reduce ‘spoils’.
Fold and pack goods carefully for delivery, operate in-house software to label goods and put in designated area ready for delivery / courier collection.
Use in-house software to schedule jobs, ensuring all required delivery dates are met. Report any concerns about delivery timescales to the Customer Service Team as soon as they are recognised.
Check goods upon delivery from supplier ensuring that the brand, size, colour, quantity and description match our order, perform booking in procedures.
To perform regular checks and servicing to the embroidery machine as per manufacturer guidelines.
To ensure that the required level of training has been received in order to carry out all of these duties to the required standard with confidence. If you are not sure it is
To implement the requirements of the Company Health and Safety Management Scheme and the Company Quality and Environmental Management Scheme
Training staff on the embroidery machine.
To carry or any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team.
