Working closely with our Chief Executive and the Executive Team, youll help strengthen organisational effectiveness, communication and alignment to YMCAs mission, ensuring that decisions are followed through, priorities progress and leadership operate with clarity and consistency.

What you'll be doing
Support to the CEO and Executive Team
-
Provide day to day support to the Chief Executive.

Support strategic projects through gathering insight, preparing briefings, helping progress and leading key organisational priorities.

Shape and develop key organisational communications.

Lead the preparation of governance reporting, ensuring Board and Committee packs are high quality.
Christian Identity
- Work in a prayerful, trusting partnership with the Executive Team and Board.

Actively communicate, model and represent the YMCAs Christian faith motivation and identity in all communications.
- To regularly lead Christian devotional activity, prayer and biblical reflection within the Executive Team and Board, and broader YMCA community.
Events and Co-ordination

Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of key YMCA Norfolk events.

Lead on co-ordination of Executive team meetings and provide support to the team across the agreed strategic priorities.

Provide cross-organisational support, responding to a wide range of operational and ad hoc queries.

Work in partnership with the ICT team to ensure organisational data are accurate, clearly presented, and effectively inform Executive and Board-level reporting, insight and decision-making.

An active commitment to the Christian faith, demonstrated through the ability to authentically lead Christian prayer, devotional activity and faith-based engagement within a senior organisational context.

Excellent planning and organisational skills.

High proficient user of Microsoft Office & ability to quickly learn other systems.

Experience of coordinating meetings, agendas and preparing relevant materials.
- A qualification in administration (e.g. NVQ) or proven significant administration experience.
