We’re looking for a Fire & Security Engineer who takes pride in doing the job properly. What We Offer
- £30,000 – £45,000 salary, depending on experience and compliance knowledge

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a field-based role covering Norwich and wider East Anglia (as far as Cambridge), working mainly on commercial and public-sector sites.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and intruder alarm systems
- Servicing emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- Fault-finding and completing remedial works
- Completing all necessary commissioning and compliance paperwork
- Collaborating with the office team and maintaining strong client communication
- Identifying and upselling remedial opportunities when appropriate (no on-site quoting)
This is a balanced role — approx. 50% installations, 50% service and fault-finding.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience as a fire and security engineer
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire systems
- Familiarity with brands such as Hikvision, Paxton, and Pyronix or similar
- Comfortable with basic system config and commissioning
- Full UK driving licence
- Presentable, reliable, and capable of working independently
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience with gate and barrier automation
- Fire suppression knowledge (a future specialist role may open)
