Job Summary

This job oppiunity is perfect for someone who has just left school and would like to persue a path of medicine and helping people. Embark on an exciting journey as a Pharmacy Apprentice, where you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmacy environment. This paid role offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in medication management, patient care, and pharmacy operations. You will work closely with licensed pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support safe and effective medication dispensing, while learning the essential duties that keep our healthcare system running smoothly. If you are passionate about healthcare, eager to learn, and committed to providing exceptional patient service, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Assist licensed pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Engage with patients to answer basic questions and provide guidance on medication usage and storage
Maintain organized records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards
Help manage stock levels by receiving deliveries, checking expiration dates, and restocking shelves
Follow all safety procedures and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and secure pharmacy environment
Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and patient care techniques

Skills

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or related role is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with patients and team members
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively within a team environment
Demonstrated commitment to patient care and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
