Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Health & Safety Co-ordinator to join our team at newly acquired site in Norwich. This role is vital in ensuring our workplace remains safe, compliant, and aligned with industry standards.
Reporting to our Group Health & Safety Officer, you will play a key part in maintaining our safety culture and supporting our company's mission of delivering exceptional automotive services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Health & Safety records, documentation, and databases
- Complete monthly compliance checks, inspections, and testing schedules
- Maintain audit trails and evidence for compliance purposes
- Encourage accident, incident, and near miss recording, Support initial investigations and ensure documentation is completed Track corrective actions through to closure
- Act as a central point of contact for H&S-related administration
- Support the preparation of H&S reports.
- Coordinate H&S training records and ensure compliance with training requirements
- Support onboarding processes with H&S documentation
- Assist in scheduling training sessions
Qualifications
- At least 3 years in a role with health and safety responsibility.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
- NEBOSH L3 is desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Professional and discreet with sensitive information
