Do you have a track record of providing high quality care? Are you a credible clinician looking for your next opportunity? West Norfolk locality is recruiting a Community Matron on a full-time, permanent basis within the Norfolk Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service. Our service comprises of five teams, one EIP team in Kings Lynn, one in Great Yarmouth, two in Norwich and our At Risk Mental State (ARMS) team (known as TIDES, also based in Norwich but covering the county). The successful post holder will be expected to work peripatetically across the county to support all five teams.
The post holder will work closely with the operational manager and have overall responsibility for the clinical and financial management functions within the service. This will involve ensuring effective and efficient clinical, quality and safety performance, working alongside the operational manager and associate director of operations and holding joint responsibility for financial management; the delivery of evidence-based patient care and ensuring that the service is safe. The Community Matron will provide clear, visible leadership, strategic vision, and good clinical knowledge and experience of working within psychosis services or pathways.
As Matron, you will work closely with the locality leadership team to ensure that high quality care is delivered within your services and will provide professional leadership to the nursing workforce.
You will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience.
We are looking to appoint individuals who have a passion for their work and a track record of achievement in influencing colleagues and partners to deliver high quality care. We want inspirational and compassionate leaders who will develop their teams to provide outstanding care.
If you have a reputation for leadership, people development, quality and improvement alongside a passion for improving outcomes with a focus on equity and inclusion to ensure that mental health provision has parity across our partners, then please do consider applying for one of these vital roles.
We are determined to create a safer, kinder and better organisation
