About BOX22
BOX22 is Norwich’s newest premium sports bar, competitive socialising venue and entertainment destination.
Phase Two of BOX22 will see the launch of CTRL Room in late Summer 2026.
Located beneath BOX22, CTRL Room will be a unique underground nightclub and event space designed to become one of Norwich’s most exciting entertainment destinations.
More than just a nightclub, CTRL Room will host an exciting mix of club nights, day parties, bottomless brunches, private celebrations, corporate events, student nights, live DJs and exclusive venue hire.
As we prepare for launch, we’re looking for an ambitious, creative and energetic Events & Nightclub Manager to take ownership of CTRL Room and play a key role in building the brand from the ground up.

The Role
This is far more than a traditional management position.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for nightlife, events and hospitality. Someone who understands how to create atmosphere, build relationships and deliver memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make CTRL Room their own, working alongside the senior management team to develop exciting concepts and establish CTRL Room as one of Norwich’s leading destinations for entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day to day operation of CTRL Room.
- Creating and delivering an exciting calendar of events and experiences.
- Planning and promoting club nights, themed events, bottomless brunches and day parties.
- Growing private hire business including birthdays, celebrations and corporate events.
- Building relationships with DJs, promoters, performers and entertainment partners.
- Driving ticket sales and increasing revenue.
- Working with external promoters and developing in house event concepts.
- Managing staffing levels and ensuring exceptional customer service standards.
- Working closely with the marketing team to maximise awareness and attendance.
- Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities to grow the business.
- Developing fresh ideas to keep the venue relevant, exciting and profitable.
- Ensuring high standards are maintained throughout all events.

- Club nights and DJ events.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience managing a nightclub, event space or entertainment venue.
- A passion for nightlife, events and creating memorable experiences.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to drive revenue.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Experience working with DJs, promoters and entertainers.
- Social media and marketing experience would be advantageous.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to bring new ideas to life.
- A hands on approach and willingness to lead from the front.
