Working within the Manufacturing team, overseeing day-to-day tasks for receiving goods in for the manufacturing team under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager. Working alongside departments to ensure the goods-in and steel store processes are running smoothly & effectively.
Key Tasks
· Ensure all manufacturing goods inwards/outwards are received/despatched correctly
· Label/store products correctly, safely and efficiently
· Ensure all relevant paperwork & administration is completed accurately
· Carry out checks in accordance with current company & departmental procedures
· Move materials around site using front and side loader FLT (once qualified)
· Support the Manufacturing Manager by liaising with suppliers in relation to delivery details
· Work alongside other members of the team to ensure products are produced, manufactured, labelled and stored appropriately
· Being flexible across multiple departments and teams
· Continuously strive to improve working processes
Education & Experience
· Good standard of secondary education [GCSE A-C (9-4) for Maths and English]
· Previous experience working in a busy goods-in/stores area beneficial, not essential as well as previous experience of working in a batch production environment
· Previous fork lift experience (front and side loaders) or willingness to learn
. Full driving licence required
Hourly rate depending on experience.
Basic hours 39.5 beginning at 6am Monday-Friday.
