Perioperative Practitioner - Recovery | Norwich | 0 hour contract | Monday – Friday Shifts Available | Competitive Rates

Are you an experienced Recovery Practitioner looking for a temporary opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise? If so, we have the perfect role for you at Spire Norwich Hospital .

As a Recovery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting patients before, during, and after their surgical procedures. Your primary focus will be to deliver safe, high-quality care, ensuring patients are closely monitored and well-supported throughout their recovery journey.

During your shifts, you will be responsible for:

Monitoring patients’ vital signs in the recovery phase
Managing pain relief and post-operative care
Ensuring patients are comfortable, stable, and reassured following procedures
Working collaboratively with medical and nursing teams to coordinate care plans
Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating any changes in condition

At Spire Norwich Hospital, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care. Our modern facility includes four operating theatres, two wards (50 beds) , and a busy outpatient and diagnostic imaging department, offering a progressive and supportive working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A relevant healthcare qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse or ODP)
Previous experience working in a recovery or theatre setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
