We are currently recruiting a Used Car Sales Manager to help lead the Sales team at our Lowestoft branch to optimise and increase sales department profitability whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Used Car Sales Manager will motivate, develop and coach the Sales team to deliver the agreed volume of used vehicles whilst retaining budgeted profitability. You will ensure adequate stock and mix in order to offer the appropriate range of vehicles and colours to customers, arrange off-site promotional events in order to raise brand awareness and work with your team to retain customers to the retail facility and the brand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the used vehicle sales, profitability, customer experience, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, managing, and coaching the Sales team to achieve volume and profit targets
Maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
Managing stock levels and vehicle mix to meet customer needs
Organising and supporting promotional events to drive awareness and footfall
Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and manufacturer standards
Driring customer retention and maximising repeat business opportunities

To be successful in this role you will need:

Proven experience of working in a busy Sales department
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Passion and drive for exceeding targets
Competence in Microsoft packages
Flexibility to work long hours including weekends on a rota basis
A full driving licence
