Job Title: Lecturer - Maths
Location: The Place - Great Yarmouth
Hours: Variable Hours
Contract: Permanent
Salary: VH Lecturer rate - £32.62 per hour (inc. of holiday and admin time)

Here at East Coast College we are passionate about making education accessible and successful for all. Our Adult courses and delivery at The Place in Great Yarmouth are continuing to evolve and engage the local and wider community.

We are looking for a Lecturer to deliver Maths at GCSE and Functional Skills on a variable hours basis.

If you share in our passion for education, are able to engage with adult learners, and confident developing our learners' Mathematics skills, then we'd love to hear from you.

Please note that this role is offered on a Variable Hours basis with no contractual commitment to weekly hours.

**East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.

Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post. Guidance about whether a conviction or caution should be disclosed can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.
