Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Production Operative to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the food production process within a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital part in ensuring food safety standards are maintained while supporting the efficient manufacturing of high-quality food products. If you thrive in a hands-on role with a focus on safety, precision, and teamwork, this could be the perfect position for you!

Duties

Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to specified recipes and standards
Operate machinery and equipment safely, applying mechanical knowledge when necessary
Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures
Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet safety and quality standards
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment for all team members
Support cleaning schedules and ensure production areas are hygienic and well-organized
Record production data accurately using basic math skills for inventory tracking and quality documentation

Experience

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge or experience operating industrial equipment is beneficial
Level 2 Food safety and hygiene, and allergen awareness would be advantages.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
