Full job description

Part of Norfolk life for over 200 years, Jarrolds’ London Street store is one of the region’s most loved independent department stores and a landmark in the heart of Norwich. With a proud heritage and a reputation for exceptional service, Jarrolds offers a unique retail and hospitality experience for our customers.

We have an opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our Food & Beverage team on a Fixed-Term basis from September 2026 until the end of May 2027. This role is 35 hours per week across 5 days and is ideal for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out manual washing of pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Receiving and putting away food deliveries safely and efficiently.
Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and organised.
Loading and unloading the dishwasher efficiently.
Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and hazard-free working environment at all times.
Supporting the kitchen team with general porterage and other duties as required.
