Overview

JMKB Group are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our growing construction team. The role is full time on a self employed basis (CIS Registered)

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to support a variety of on-site construction tasks. No two days are the same, and you will play a key role in helping projects run safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are required, as travel between sites forms an essential part of this role.

Our work includes new builds, refurbishments, and ongoing maintenance for homeowners, businesses, and property developers. Key Responsibilities

Assist tradespeople including bricklayers, roofers, plasterers and joiners
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
Carry out basic demolition under supervision
Keep site areas clean, tidy, and safe
Mix and prepare materials such as concrete and mortar
Use basic hand and power tools (under supervision)
Support deliveries and material storage
Follow all site instructions and health & safety procedures

Requirements

Previous construction site experience (preferred)
Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
Basic understanding of health & safety on site
Valid CSCS card (preferred or willing to obtain)
Full UK Driving Licence and own transport (essential)
