Finance Manager

Location: Nottingham, UK
Salary: £40,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Qualification: Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant UK finance experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations, management reporting, compliance and financial controls. You will work closely with the Directors/CFO and manage the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support the finance team.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and month-end reports.
Manage cash flow, banking and payments.
Oversee VAT and CIS compliance.
Coordinate annual accounts with external accountants.
Lead budgeting and forecasting.
Review financial performance and provide reports to Directors/CFO.
Support construction and project finance.
Maintain effective financial controls and processes.
Provide finance business partnering and commercial support.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' relevant UK finance experience.
Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA – essential.
Strong experience in management accounts, cash flow and month-end reporting.
Good knowledge of UK VAT and CIS.
Experience managing a finance team.
Construction/project finance experience is desirable.
Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
