Job Summary
Kurio Manufacturing, a specialist manufacturer of bespoke compression garments, is looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join our small, dedicated team in Jacksdale. This permenant position offers flexible part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Use industrial sewing machines to create custom compression garments
- Work with technical fabrics like lycra
- Operate the following machines:
- 3-needle Coverseam
- 2-needle Overlock
- Lockstitch
- Chainstitch
- 2-needle Overlock Elasticator with Ram Unit
- Assist with general sewing room tasks
- Participate in training as needed
Requirements
- Must have previous experience using the machines listed above
- Comfortable working with stretch fabrics such as lycra
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
