Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Export Shipping Clerk with strong customer service skills to join our logistics team. This role involves managing export documentation, coordinating shipments, and providing exceptional support to clients and internal departments. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth international freight operations, adhering to relevant regulations, and maintaining excellent client relationships. Experience with transportation management systems and supply chain processes is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in logistics, B2B sales, and compliance within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process export documentation in accordance with international trade regulations and FDA standards.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, 3PL providers, and carriers to schedule shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Utilise transportation management systems
Manage customer enquiries via CRM software, providing accurate information regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
Negotiate shipping terms with clients and carriers to optimise costs and service levels.
Maintain detailed records of shipments, invoices, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations including FDA requirements for export products.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline logistics processes and improve overall efficiency.
Support Customers and deliver real time communication assist them.

Requirements

Proven experience with transportation management systems .
Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, B2B sales processes, and CRM software utilisation.
Knowledge of export procedures, international shipping regulations, including FDA compliance standards.
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail for data entry and documentation accuracy.
Effective negotiation skills to manage shipping costs and service agreements.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Prior experience working within logistics or export

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
