Front of House Supervisor / Front of House Team Member (Depending on Experience)

Hemisphere Restaurant | West Bridgford, Nottingham
Permanent | 30–35 Hours per Week

Expected earnings: Circa £26,436.80–£31,200 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.

Following our recent Gold Award for Taste of Nottinghamshire Restaurant of the Year, we're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our growing team.

Hemisphere is an independent, family-run restaurant in the heart of West Bridgford, serving Pacific Rim-inspired sharing plates, award-winning hospitality, speciality coffee, handcrafted cocktails, and an unforgettable dining experience.

We're looking for either an experienced Front of House Supervisor or an exceptional Front of House Team Member ready to take the next step in their career. The role offered will depend on your experience.

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

When the owners are away, you'll confidently lead the team, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive, supportive working environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the guest journey
Leading and motivating the Front of House team during service
Supporting reservations, party enquiries and daily administration
Ensuring shifts run efficiently while maintaining Hemisphere's high standards
Assisting with staff training and development
Supporting bar service where required (cocktail experience is an advantage but not essential)

What We're Looking For

You'll have:

At least 1 year's experience in a similar hospitality role
Previous Front of House experience (essential)
Previous supervisory experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A confident, friendly and professional manner
The ability to remain calm, organised and positive under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
A willingness to learn and develop within the business

Applicants must be 18 or over as the role includes bar work.

Hours

Permanent position
30–35 hours per week
Fully flexible availability required
Mixture of straight shifts and occasional split shifts
Days, evenings and weekends
We are closed on Mondays, except Bank Holiday Mondays
