Full job description

We are a growing housing association based in Nottinghamshire seeking reliable Multi-Trade Maintenance Technicians to join our team ASAP!

Main duties:

Perform routine and general maintenance tasks across ALL properties, including but not limited to:

Joinery work, repairing plumbing/electrical issues, painting & decorating, PAT testing, health and safety checks, basic filling and plastering, tiling, basic brickwork, gardening/landscaping, CCTV installation & repairs.

Conduct inspections to identify maintenance work required & priority
Troubleshoot & repair equipment
Liaise with external contractors
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed
Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Experience:

Strong joinery skills (highly required)
Solid electrical and plumbing skills
Painting & decorating experience
Proven multi-trade or general building background
Communication and leadership skills to supervise other maintenance staff as necessary.

Essential:

OWN VAN/VEHICLE (essential)
Own set of comprehensive tools
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Proficient written and spoken English

Desirable:

Qualifications in multiple trades
Previous experience maintaining a housing association or similar
Welding skills are a bonus

! REQUIRES DRIVING: This role requires you to travel between any of our properties in and around Nottinghamshire to ensure they remain in a good condition. If you do not drive and have access to a vehicle, please do not apply.

Occasional opportunities for additional earnings from extra installation projects.
