Social Media Manager

If you are a skilled Content Creator or experienced Social Media Manager who wants to join a small, fast paced, values-led team, work with passionate people, and give iconic brands second chances, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re Something* a fast-growing crew on a mission to give iconic brands and forgotten

gems a second life.

Based in Leicestershire, we re-love and re-sell incredible vintage finds,

keeping quality pieces out of landfill and in the hands of people who’ll treasure them.

Now we’re on the lookout for a creative, social-savvy Content Creator to join our team.

You’ll help bring the Something* vibe to life across platforms – growing our community,

building our brand, social media presence and turning browsers into buyers.

This could be your thing if…

You’ve created content that connects – for a brand, a business, or your own side hustle.

You’re fluent in Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and unique content creation – and on top of what’s

trending.

You write sharp copy, design compelling visuals (Canva or Adobe), and track performance.

You’re self-motivated, organised, and collaborative.

You care about sustainability, community, and style with a story.

You understand how to target content at different audiences to achieve different goals, and how to make this content sit altogether within key channels

What you’ll do:

Plan and deliver social campaigns that grow engagement across several varied audiences
Create engaging content – reels, promos, BTS snippets, and more.
Input into wider marketing campaigns and web/app initiatives to help bring in and retain audiences
Help drive sales through brilliant storytelling and smart promotion.
Collaborate with our external media agency to maintain brand consistency.
Respond to comments and DMs to build our community.
Use performance insights to optimise and refine your strategy.
