Job Details

Are you an experienced and compassionate Paediatric Complex Carer looking for a rewarding night shift role in Leicester (LE3)? This opportunity offers competitive rates of £16.00 - £20.00 per hour, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real difference in a child’s life.

As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered agency, Coyle Homecare have been a leading provider of homecare services in the UK for over 20 years. We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, to provide essential care and support to children and adults in the comfort of their home environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Complex Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to a young service user. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

Provide continuous overnight monitoring and support.
Manage and respond to seizures effectively.
Support ventilation care.
Manage NJ/NG feeding tubes safely.
Observe and record vital signs and overall wellbeing.
Assist with repositioning and ensuring comfort throughout the night.
Escalate any clinical concerns promptly.
Work collaboratively with the family and wider healthcare team.
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a home environment.
Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication at all times.

Key Job Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Previous experience in complex care and/or community care.
Experience supporting children with complex medical needs.
Knowledge or experience of epilepsy and seizure management.
Understanding of ventilation support.
Experience with NJ/NG tube feeding.
Confidence working independently on night shifts.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Shift Information

Night shifts: 10:00pm – 6:00am
Consistent ongoing night work available
