Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from garden design to large-scale construction, utilising a range of tools and specialised equipment. The ideal applicant will have a passion for horticulture and landscape maintenance, combined with practical mechanical knowledge and experience working with power tools and construction machinery.

Responsibilities

Carry out landscaping tasks including paving, decking, driveways.
Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to support landscaping projects.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, digging, trimming, and other gardening activities
Assist with construction projects related to outdoor spaces, including the installation of features such as patios, pathways, and garden beds.
Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping designs that meet client specifications.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is essential.
Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment is required.
Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and general maintenance practices.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A valid driver’s licence is preferred for operating larger machinery or transporting equipment between sites.
Strong teamwork ethic combined with excellent communication skills. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about outdoor spaces and construction work within the landscaping industry.
