Housing Assistant

Temporary 12 month contract

We are looking for someone with previous experience of working with members of the public both on the telephone and face to face as you will be out tenants first point of contact for the Housing Management Team. The team prides itself on providing excellent customer services and you must be able to provide clear advice on tenancy and rent queries (training will be given to help you do this), you also need to be able to stay calm as you will sometimes be dealing with difficult situations. In addition to the role providing support to the council's Housing Officers and wider Housing Management Team, you will also be responsible for the case management of Right to Buy and Mutual Exchange applications.

36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary starting at £28,598
Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working
34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
