Position: Locum Specialty Registrar (ST3+) Location: NHS Trust (various sites as required) Start Date: ASAP Requirements: Valid Right to Work in the UK and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Role Summary
The Locum ST3+ Doctor will provide high‑quality clinical care across designated departments within the NHS Trust. The postholder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe and effective patient management in line with GMC standards and Trust policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical assessment of patients, including history‑taking, examination, diagnosis, and management planning
- Participation in ward rounds, MDT meetings, and handovers
- Providing emergency and acute care as required
- Supervising junior doctors and supporting medical students
- Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to Trust governance
- Participation in on‑call rotas, nights, and weekends where applicable
- Escalating concerns appropriately and contributing to patient safety initiatives
Essential Requirements
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Minimum ST3+ level or equivalent experience
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- ALS certification (current and in date)
- Evidence of up‑to‑date mandatory training
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: £54.00-£80.00 per hour
