Full job description

Here at Alpen Signs Ltd, we’ve been creating bold, impactful signage for over 40 years, from bespoke local projects to national rollouts for major brands. Our work turns heads, sparks conversations, and helps businesses stand out.

We’re now seeking a Fitter’s mate / Installer who shares our passion for quality and detail, to join our growing installation team.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Sign Fitter’s Assistant to support our installation team. You will help with the preparation, delivery, and installation of internal and external signage for a wide range of clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, travelling to different sites, and learning a skilled trade.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the lead fitter with installing signs on-site (interior and exterior)
Help load and unload materials and tools safely
Prepare components in the workshop when required
Follow health & safety practices and use PPE correctly
Work to deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Support with basic measuring, drilling, fixing, and finishing tasks
Working out of town will be required as and when required.

About You

Full UK driving license required
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Happy to work at heights when required
Good attitude, reliable and eager to learn
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Able to work as part of a team or under supervision on-site
