Core Objectives

Carry out skilled double-glazing work. This will include site preparation, installations, inspections, diagnosing problems, testing, removal, replacement, repair, maintenance of double glazing.

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities

Selecting correct products for each task
Removal of existing glass, door and window units and site preparation including cutting and chop outs
Installations, inspections, diagnosing problems, testing, repair, maintenance, removal, replacement, of double glazing
Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
Carry out tasks within agreed time limits
Ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
Report to Line Manager
Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line manager
Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
Contribute towards the smooth running of the team
Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures

The Installer will:

Be committed to installing to the highest standard along with providing excellent customer service, be confident and professional with customers.
Have plenty of experience of installing aluminium/UPVC windows, doors and conservatories, and a commitment to completing high-quality installations.
