Contract Type: Full Time/ Permanent

Hours of work: 36 or 40 Hours per week*

Salary Range: £39,337.25 to £45,819.68 per annum*

Location: Telford - Covering Shropshire and Staffordshire

Closing Date: 24th July 2026

About the role:

We are looking for a multiskilled Heating Engineer to join our team. Are you someone who can deliver a high-quality heating system maintenance to our tenants and care homes? Do you have knowledge and experience of installation of boilers and heating systems? or do you have knowledge of compliance testing and repairs, incorporating a range of different fuel types including but not limited to domestic gas, oil and solid fuel?

As a Heating Engineer, you will:

You will be expected to service a range of fuel-burning appliances, boilers, water heaters, unvented cylinders and gas fires in accordance with current regulations (within your competency).
You will be expected to repair and maintain central heating systems, boilers and gas fires, including wiring, and controls.
You may have to replace heating and hot water appliances, pipework, and associated fixtures and fittings when necessary.
To be responsible for completing appropriate paperwork, labels and forms both paper and computer records associated with the work undertaken.
Manage van stock and replenishments in an effective and efficient way and manage stock from authorised suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system.

About you:

To be considered, you will have a City and Guilds in either plumbing/ gas fitting or equivalent. Completion of ACS or ACOPS assessment and hold a full UK driving licence.

Three years post qualification experience in a gas environment is the level of experience desirable for this position and a familiarisation of a range a gas central heating system is essential.

You will be required to hold Full UK Driving Licence

You will be required to undertake a Basic DBS Check
