A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Nelsons Butchers to join our family run business as a Retail Shop Assistant, based in our Oakham & Uppingham stores. We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, reliable, versatile, and flexible person to fulfil this role.

Job Responsibilities
· Opening & closing of our Oakham/Uppingham stores.
· Setting and topping up service counters
· Stock Rotation & Date checking
· Food preparation
· Serving customers
· Cleaning and maintenance of the store
· Daily cashing up
· Assisting in our Stamford stores – when holidays/sickness cover is required.
Person Specification
· Experience in retail is ideal however training will be given
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Strong Organisation abilities with attention to detail.
· A passion for food
· No butchery skills required
· Full Clean Driving License
Hours of Work and Benefit
· £19,250.00 Annual Salary – paid 4 weekly.
· 29 hours
Monday 1-4pm Oakham
Tuesday 7am – 4pm Oakham
Friday 7am – 4pm Oakham
Saturday 7am – 4pm Uppingham
(flexibility will be required during peak periods)
