Full job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional customer service and support in a pharmacy setting. Your day will be spent working alongside our Pharmacists and Dispensers to provide an excellent customer experience in our busy pharmacy. Attention to detail and ability to interact with our patients is key whilst adhering to the legal standards required.

Duties:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the counter
- Handle cash register transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Assist in restocking inventory and monitoring stock levels

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Pharmacy customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations is a plus
