Job Summary
We are recruiting a Men's Locker Room Assistant at Queenwood .We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team in what is a key and unique customer service role within the golf industry. As the first point of contact in the locker room, this role provides a warm welcome to members and ensures they have everything they need for their golfing round. Responsibilities include serving food and drink, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and offering a helpful, professional presence at all times. We'd love to hear from those who take pride in offering great service and enjoy working in a fun and sociable setting. This is a full time contracted role.
Responsibilities
- To assign lockers to our members, associates and guests as directed by your Manager, and to maintain all storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
- To clean and polish shoes to company standards and maintain a good level of order in the cleaning area.
- At all times to ensure the house policy of shoes not stored at Queenwood be automatically cleaned so as to avoid seed cross contamination from other clubs.
- Ensure only shoes with soft spikes are used on the course.
- To provide food and beverage service in the Locker Rooms to the standard required by the clubhouse manager.
- To maintain the social areas of the Locker Rooms in a tidy and visually appealing fashion, including newspapers / periodicals.
- Replenish coffee, water and nibbles’ stations as required
- Ensure good stock control in your department to allow for an efficient daily service.
- Ensure all toiletries are on display in a timely, tidy and hygienic fashion. To replenish and clean down the sink area throughout your shift.
- Ensure a timely supply of laundered bath towels for the showers and keep shower areas clean and safe during your shift.
- To assume responsibility for the Locker Rooms in the absence of senior personnel.
- At all times to be immaculately groomed and presented in standard company uniform.
- To work in a positive, cooperative and pleasant manner with members, colleagues and management.
Requirements
- Mother-tongue or bilingual English speaker
- The right to work in the UK
- To live within easy commuting distance of Queenwood Golf Club
- Driving licence and car essential
- Strong EQ
