Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Hard Landscaper / Senior Landscaperr to join our premium garden build team, delivering high-end residential garden projects across London, Surrey and the South East.
This is a hands-on role for someone with extensive on-site experience, strong practical ability, a high level of attention to detail, and real pride in the quality of their workmanship and finish.
Working closely with our design team and project manager, you will play a key role in constructing thoughtfully designed, award-winning gardens using high-quality materials and above-standard construction methods. This position is suited to a capable landscaper who enjoys responsibility, variety, and being part of a skilled, close-knit team.
We are not looking for someone who simply wants to turn up and get through the day. We are looking for someone who stands above the rest, takes ownership of their work, understands the importance of detail, and wants to be involved in building exceptional gardens.
Responsibilities
- Hard landscaping, including natural stone paving, clay pavers, composite decking, fencing, retaining walls, raised beds and coping stones
- Site set-up, groundworks and general site organisation
- Working from drawings, specifications and clear site instructions
- Setting out, levels, preparation and sequencing of works
- Soft landscaping, including soil preparation, planting, turfing and finishing
- Supporting site organisation, delegation and day-to-day problem solving
- Collaborating with designers, project managers and the wider team to deliver projects to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional site environment
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years’ proven landscaping experience
- Experience running or taking responsibility for your own projects or sections of work
- Strong knowledge of natural stone installation and high-quality paving preparation
- Good understanding of site practices, sequencing, setting out and levels
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Own transport preferred
