We're an ARB Approved Contractor based in Laleham, Surrey — family-run, professional, and busy year-round across Surrey, West Sussex, and West London. We do a varied mix of domestic and commercial tree work and we take pride in running a tight, well-organised operation.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Groundsman and Driver to support our climbing team on site every day.
The role:
You'll be driving our 7.5 tonne truck to and from sites across Surrey, West Sussex, and West London, operating the woodchipper, managing ground-level work, and keeping the site clean, safe, and running smoothly while the climbers work above. It's a physical, outdoor role and no two days are the same.
What we're looking for:
- Category C1 licence minimum — essential. You will be driving a 7.5 tonne truck daily. Please do not apply without this
- Full Cat C or Class 1 (Cat C+E) — advantageous and reflected in your day rate
- Experience in tree surgery, grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar outdoor physical role — desirable
- Ability to operate a woodchipper and assist on the ground safely
- CS30 / CS31 groundsman chainsaw tickets — desirable but not essential; we'll support the right candidate to gain these
- Reliable, punctual, good team player who takes care of equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers

- £130 – £180 per day depending on experience and licences held

We're open to both self-employed (day rate) and PAYE employed arrangements depending on what works best for the right candidate. We'll sort the details at interview.
