Full job description

Baker – Full Time

Ryder’s Bakery has been proudly serving our community for over 50 years. From our traditional breads to innovative new products, we’ve built a reputation for quality and consistency – and as our business continues to expand, we’re looking for a skilled Baker to join our growing team.

Shifts are Tue - Sat : 0230 to 1030

What we offer:

Salary from £14 per hour (dependent on experience)

The role:

Producing a wide range of breads, rolls, and baked goods at commercial scale
Operating and maintaining bakery machinery safely and efficiently
Ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene
Contributing to new product development as our range evolves
Working as part of a fast-paced, professional bakery team

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a baker in a commercial or industrial bakery setting
Strong knowledge of bakery processes, ingredients, and food safety standards
Reliability, teamwork, and a passion for quality baking
Flexibility to work early shifts and weekends as required
