Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Support staff training and development to foster a motivated, knowledgeable team capable of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, food handling procedures, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize profitability.
- Supervise food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety compliance in accordance with health regulations.
- Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Assist with shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and hospitality regulations to provide a safe dining environment.
- Support management in budgeting activities, cost control measures, and operational planning to meet business goals.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Participate in interviewing prospective team members and contribute to staff training & development programs to build a strong team culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in quick service & fast food environments or casual dining settings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and managing food production processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork within diverse groups.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
