Alku is a UK manufacturer of premium kitchen and bedroom furniture, sold through a nationwide network of retail partners. We're growing fast and looking for a meticulous Sales Order Inputter to keep our orders flowing smoothly.
The Role
You'll be responsible for accurately processing design-led sales orders from our retail partners, resolving queries, and ensuring every order is tracked through to despatch. Working closely with our retailers, you'll play a key role in translating kitchen designs into accurate, production-ready orders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inputting and processing design-led sales orders from retail partners accurately and on time.
2. Reviewing kitchen design plans and translating them into correctly coded orders.
3. Checking orders for correct product codes, pricing, and delivery details.
4. Resolving order and design queries with retail partners and internal teams.
5. Tracking orders through to despatch and liaising with warehouse/logistics.
6. General sales office administration and reporting.
What We're Looking For
7. Experience in order processing, data entry, or sales administration.
8. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
9. Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
10. Good communicator, confident on the phone and via email.
11. Able to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
12. Experience in kitchen design or a kitchen retail environment is highly desirable.
13. Familiarity with kitchen design software (e.g. Winner, Compusoft) is an advantage.
