Spa Therapist - Casual / Flexible (Spa Environment)

We are launching a new spa within a hotel setting, focused on delivering a high-end, tranquil experience for every client.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing brand from the beginning, with the potential to develop into more consistent hours as the business builds.

About the role

This is a flexible, zero-hours position where shifts are demand-led and based on bookings.

As we are in the early stages, there are no guaranteed hours initially, but there is strong potential for this to grow into more regular or full-time work over time for the right person.

This role is best suited to someone who:

Values flexibility
Is happy with a demand-led schedule
May already have another income stream

Our Environment

We are building a high-end, calm, and professional spa environment.

Client experience is our priority
We take a client-led approach
Some clients prefer quiet, others light conversation
We maintain a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere at all times

Availability

Ideally available across Thursday–Sunday (our busiest days)
Not all days required, but some availability within this window is essential

Duties

Deliver a wide range of treatments including massage, facials, nails.
Provide exceptional guest services by understanding client needs and upselling additional treatments.
Oversee front desk activities such as booking appointments, managing client records, and handling enquiries efficiently.
Help create content for social media platforms
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike.
Coordinate with management on staffing schedules, stock levels, and promotional activities to optimise operational efficiency.

Skills

Proven experience within a spa.
Must have a nail qualification.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and external partners.
Extensive experience in guest services with a focus on personalised care and client retention.
Skilled in specialised treatments such as massage, facials and spa treatments.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting whilst maintaining attention to detail.
A friendly demeanour combined with professional hospitality skills that create a relaxing environment for clients.

Desirable Skills

Qualification in electrical facials, including hydrafacials and / or hair.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £14.00 per hour
