About Us

KRO Hospitality is a hospitality group committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across our portfolio of boutique and branded hotels. With a strong focus on quality, operational excellence, and people-first leadership, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and commercially astute Group General Manager to oversee operations across three key properties:

Velvet Hotel Manchester
Forty Seven Hotel Manchester
Garner by IHG Preston, Samlesbury

This is a senior leadership role requiring a hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving performance, improving standards, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across all three hotels
Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost control in line with company targets
Lead, develop, and inspire Hotel Managers and departmental teams
Improve operational standards, guest satisfaction, and online reputation
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, HR, and brand standards (where applicable)
Identify opportunities for growth, efficiencies, and business improvement
Work closely with ownership on business planning, reporting, and performance reviews
Implement strong leadership culture and accountability across all sites

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a General Manager or Regional Manager within hospitality
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving financial performance
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive change and accountability
Experience managing multiple sites or complex operations
Passion for guest experience, quality, and team development
Strong understanding of hotel operations including rooms, F&B, and compliance
Resilient, driven, and comfortable operating in a turnaround or growth environment
