This role sits within the HR category of the EMEA Sourcing team. The successful candidate will lead negotiations on critical supplier agreements, manage contractual risks, and help secure desirable outcomes for the Firm. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently while partnering closely with key business stakeholders to ensure procurement activity aligns with organisational priorities, timelines, and performance expectations. Performance will be measured through the delivery of value, efficiency improvements, and high levels of stakeholder satisfaction. The category remit is broad and includes Recruitment, Learning and Development, Temporary Labour, Wellbeing, and Benefits.
As an Assistant Manager, you will:

Act as a trusted procurement advisor to internal stakeholders, Partners, and executive stakeholders on business-critical procurement initiatives.

Support internal clients across the global organisation by delivering local, regional, and global sourcing projects in line with Deloitte’s Global Sourcing methodology.

Lead and manage local sourcing projects, execute contracts, and support strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFI and RFP activities.

Apply strong analytical and commercial skills to support decision-making and lead or contribute to commercial negotiations across a range of projects.

Develop sourcing event documentation and deliver sourcing analytics to support informed procurement strategies and outcomes.

Negotiate high-value contracts, manage key supplier relationships, and contribute to the continued development of the global procurement function.
Location: Remote working, occasional need to be onsite

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business (or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid understanding of contract and agreement templates.

Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across functions.

Strong analytical skills, including experience in the development and interpretation of complex models such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently in both written and verbal formats.
-
The ability to work in a virtual, geographically dispersed environment.
-
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate contract completion across legal and business stakeholders.

Proven experience in procurement. Exposure to Human Resources and Talent-related categories would be beneficial but is not essential.

CIPS qualified, or working towards an equivalent professional qualification, would be advantageous.

Proficiency in ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience of working across global teams would be valuable, although the primary focus of the role is EMEA.
