Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Saturday: 6:00am-1:00pm (when busy)

The role
We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator who can work independently and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will be capable of reading engineering drawings, fabricating to a high standard and working both independently and as part of a team when required.
Typical projects include
- Roof access platforms
- Structural steel assemblies
- Diesel tank fabrication and repairs
- Skip repairs
- Impact testing barriers
- HVAC installation equipment
- Mountain bike ramps
- Bespoke fabrication projects
- Small batch production work
Responsibilities
- MIG welding mild steel fabrications
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Fabricating components from start to finish
- Structural steel fabrication
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Press brake work
- Drilling, tapping and sawing
- Operating workshop machinery
- Working independently whilst maintaining quality standards
- Supporting other departments when required

Equipment and facilities
You'll have exposure to a wide range of equipment including:
- Laser cutting
- CNC machining centres
- Press brakes
- Bandsaws
- Vibro deburring equipment
- 3D printing facilities
- CAD design capabilities
- Forklifts, side loaders and Manitou equipment
Essential requirements
- Previous MIG Welder Fabricator experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to fabricate independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Within commuting distance of Newport Pagnell (MK16)
