Job Summary
The Spare Parts Salesperson for Access Equipment is responsible for selling, managing, and distributing spare parts for access equipment such as aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and related machinery. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills commercial awareness with a strong desire to upsell, and the ability to provide technical guidance to customers and service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Service
- Promote and sell spare parts for access equipment to customers, including rental companies, service technicians, and end-users.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate parts information and pricing.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts or upgrades.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Work closely with the marketing team on strategic promotional activities.
- Parts Management
- Maintain knowledge of inventory levels, lead times, and product availability.
- Assist in ordering and restocking parts, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and process sales orders, invoices, and quotations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
- Technical Support
- Provide technical advice to customers and service teams regarding compatibility, installation, and maintenance of parts.
- Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals to accurately identify parts.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and recommend solutions or alternative parts when necessary.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Track sales, parts usage, and customer orders for reporting purposes.
- Assist with warranty claims, returns, and credit notes when required.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with new product releases and industry developments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in spare parts sales, preferably in construction or access equipment industry.
- Strong technical understanding of aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and related machinery.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability and aptitude to drive sales

Working Conditions:
Working hours - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours per week)
