Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated MSK Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring optimal recovery and functional improvement. This role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment, providing specialised physiotherapy care to diverse patient populations, including paediatrics and adults. The ideal applicant will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal complaints, including injury history and physical examination
Develop personalised treatment plans based on physiologically sound principles and evidence-based practices
Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programmes, and mobilisation techniques
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimise outcomes
Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
Assist in training junior staff or interns as required

Stay updated with current developments in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and related fields

Requirements

recognised qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
Registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC)
Proven experience working within hospital settings preferred; experience in paediatrics is an advantage
Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal conditions
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning via weekly IST and access to a world leading physiotherapy mentorhsip programme
