Commercial Partnerships Manager

AJS Promotions is the organiser behind some of Ireland's largest agricultural and machinery events, the Spring Farm Machinery Shows. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Commercial Partnerships Manager to drive exhibitor sales, sponsorship revenue and strategic partnerships across our events portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and delivering results.
The Role
The Commercial Partnerships Manager will be responsible for growing event revenue through exhibitor sales, sponsorship development and long term partnership management.
Working closely with the wider team, you will help ensure our events continue to attract leading businesses, strong visitor numbers and valuable commercial partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesExhibitor Sales & Account Management
- Drive exhibitor sales across our portfolio of events
- Manage and grow relationships with existing exhibitors
- Identify and secure new exhibitors
- Maximise exhibitor retention and repeat bookings
- Build long term relationships with key industry stakeholders
- Develop account plans for key customers
Sponsorship & Partnerships
- Develop and sell sponsorship opportunities across all events
- Create attractive partnership packages for brands and businesses
- Identify new sponsorship opportunities and revenue streams
- Build strategic relationships with commercial partners
- Ensure sponsors receive maximum value and visibility
Commercial Growth
- Generate new business opportunities
- Maintain an active sales pipeline
- Track performance against revenue targets
- Identify opportunities for new events, features and commercial initiatives
- Work closely with the Events & Marketing Manager to maximise event growth and commercial performance
Event Delivery
- Support the planning and execution of industry leading agricultural and machinery events
- Ensure a positive exhibitor and visitor experience
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Support budget management and event performance reporting
What We're Looking For
- Experience in sales, business development, partnerships or account management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Commercial mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience within agriculture, machinery, construction, events or rural industries would be advantageous but is not essential

In your first 12 months you will:
- Increase exhibitor revenue across the event portfolio
- Grow sponsorship and partnership income
- Improve exhibitor retention and repeat bookings
- Build a strong pipeline of future opportunities
- Become a trusted commercial partner to customers and stakeholders
- Play a key role in the continued growth of AJS Promotions
Qualifications
- Experience in business development, events, marketing, partnerships or commercial growth
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Commercial mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities
- Self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen
- Experience within agriculture, events or rural industries would be advantageous but is not essential
Compensation
Annual Leave: Standard accrued holiday entitlement based on hours worked (holiday year runs from 1st April to 31st March).
Full-Time Salary: £30,000 per annum base commensurate with experience, with a further salary and performance review to take place as the role develops.
Bonus: Performance related bonus structure within 6 months.
