The Role
We are looking for candidates that will operate cable percussion drilling plant and equipment to form boreholes within the ground.
What You'll Be Doing
Working away Monday to Friday, on sites across the UK, you will be part of the operational site team delivering works for our Clients.
Responsible for operating the cable percussion drilling rig, you will drill boreholes, install casing, and oversee sampling and testing at different depths, as well as maintaining Drilling Logs for submission.
You'll make sure the rig is properly set up and maintained, to ensure efficient drilling and minimize environmental impact.
What We’re Looking For
You will need to hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Land Drilling, and be able to work to a defined health and safety management system, with an understanding of what is required from yourself and other colleagues.
You should be prepared for a variety of workloads from general routine jobs, to task that carry out responsibility. You should have good planning and and organisation skills, and need to have excellent problem solving skills, use your own initiative, have great attention to deal, excellent communication skills, a professional approach and good customer-service focus.
