About the Role
We are looking for a caring and reliable Lunchtime Cover Practitioner to join our friendly team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking for family-friendly hours within a supportive nursery environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children during mealtimes and encouraging positive eating habits
- Helping to set up, serve and supervise healthy, balanced lunches
- Promoting children's independence and developing good table manners
- Supporting smooth and calm transitions between lunch and afternoon activities
- Assisting with tidying and preparing the environment for the afternoon session
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and care at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Kind, patient and dependable
- Passionate about supporting children's wellbeing and development
- Comfortable working with children aged 0–5 years
- A good communicator and team player
- Able to follow nursery policies, procedures and daily routines
A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification would be an advantage but is not essential. We value enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children.
